Job Requirements
  • Recent or upcoming graduate desired (Between December 2006 and June 2008)
  • BS degree in EE, CE or CS (or equivalent.)
  • Strong academic record (3.50/4.00 GPA or above)
  • UNIX and/or Linux operating system understanding required
  • Programming proficiency in C, C++ language, as well as scripting languages (Perl, TCL).
  • Basic understanding of hardware logic required
  • Verilog design experience including Verilog/ Systems Verilog Simulator/ PLI/ DPI experience desired
  • MIP's assembly language programming desired
  • Firmware or hardware design or applications experience desired
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident/H-1B

Job Description
Digital verification engineer for ASIC and SoC projects within the Broadband Communications Group. Duties will include project environment set-up, developing project verification application software, resolution of project verification problems, creating and running project regressions as well as generating functional test vectors for silicon verification. Additional duties will include design and validation of standard interface transactors/tools (i.e. PCIX, USB2.0, etc.) verification suites. Tasks will include new software or firmware development as well as maintenance of existing software.
